So What Does the "G" Stand For?

One of the questions I am asked the most is: What does the "G" stand for? I’ll start by saying from the get-go I have been a fairly private person. Not quite reclusive, but nonetheless introverted. So I’ve always had a little fun with this question. Over the years, I have come up with a variety of responses. The flaccid answers include: GERALD, GARY, GEORGE, GABRIEL, GRANT, and other common names starting with G. What I won't say is which, if any, is my real name - or if I've ever even responded truthfully to that question. Besides, it makes me more mysterious and that keeps you interested.

What I can tell you is that it doesn't stand for GORY, GARISH, GLIB, or GRUMPY. But it might stand for GROSS or GRAPHIC (at times), GENUINE, GENEROUS, GENIAL, or GRATEFUL, and the odds-on favorites are GHASTLY, GHOULISH, and GRUESOME.

I'm sure this is in the running for the most unsatisfying answer to any question ever queried, but I'll leave you with this. You understand now why I won't ever answer the question directly. My private life is mine to own. But maybe I've indirectly spilled the tea by using my first name in one of my stories. Its own private Easter egg waiting to be discovered. Of course, you would have to know it to know it, right?
